Qvinnovindar is the first economic cooperative for women who own and invest in renewable energy in Sweden. Since its inception in 2007, two subsidiary cooperatives with the same structure have been started, Q2 and Qvinnovindar Sweden. Today, 80 women are engaged across the three projects, and together, they produce 3 million kWh every year through the shares they own in onshore wind turbines and sell them to the grid.
