Green Energy Cooperative Zelena Energetska Zadruga

The Green Energy Cooperative (ZEZ) was established as part of the Development of Energy Cooperatives in Croatia Programme; however, it has existed independently since the project’s completion. Now it aims to involve citizens in the energy transition process, to encourage entrepreneurship in the energy sector, to empower citizens through the use of RES, and to promote autonomous energy production. The Cooperative is also focused on the development of local communities and the protection of the environment. It provides citizens with the opportunity to participate directly in all its aspects, including construction, production, decision-making and profit-sharing.
