‘EOLPOP – Living from the air of the sky” ‘EOLPOP – Viure de l’aire del cel

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the public opening of the first modern wind turbine connected to the grid in Catalonia, the local branch of Eurosolar (European Association for Renewable Energies) launched a pioneering initiative: Living from the air of the sky. This involves the installation of a wind turbine with shared ownership among citizens who voluntarily provide the money needed to realize the project. The site chosen is within the municipality of Pujalt (Anoia, Catalunya) due to the good wind conditions, easy access, and accessibility to the medium voltage network.
