Bike Friendly Workplace Cykelvänlig arbetsplats

‘Bike Friendly Workplace’ is a campaign and a competition run by the municipality of Uppsala to encourage employers to facilitate biking to work and for work purposes. Participation is free of charge, and all employers in the municipality can sign up; thereafter, a point of contact at the municipality will help them to develop a plan for further efforts. The municipality provides advice, shares best practices, and other useful resources to help organisations/companies to become more bike friendly. Participants are awarded a certificate, and each year, the most bike-friendly workplaces are recognised and given an award.
