ASEC is a network of citizen energy initiatives which was created in 2019. ASEC’s goal is to promote and support citizen energy while respecting the environment and people and generating local economic benefits. To this end, it encourages citizen involvement in the energy transition through awareness and information; improves the visibility of citizen energy initiatives; promotes and represents the common interests of the initiatives to citizens; facilitates the sharing of experience and know-how among initiatives, and takes any other action that is in line with its goals.
