TegenGas is a grassroots citizens’ initiative composed of people affected locally by new fossil gas power plants throughout Belgium and people from environmental, anti-nuclear and other social movements. It is working towards a Belgian phase-out of nuclear power by 2025, an end of fossil fuel infrastructure subsidies, and the construction of new fossil gas power plants. More generally, TegenGas is calling for a just transition to a regenerative and low-energy society.
