Bertrand Piccard is a Swiss psychiatrist and adventurer. In 2015/2016, he conducted the first successful round-the-world solar-powered flight (Solar Impulse II). He is the founder and chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes environmental protection and awards the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label to 1,000 solutions that protect the environment in a profitable way.
