The Danish Citizen Assembly on Climate aims to involve a representative sample of the Danish population in the development of Danish climate policy. The Citizens’ Assembly consists of 99 members, selected on the basis of simple criteria such as age, gender, geography, education and income to best represent the Danish population. The task of the members is to debate and make recommendations on dilemmas related to climate challenges so that citizens can have their voices heard in the development of climate policy.
